Our second annual Bendigo Big Hit was another successful fundraiser and a great day. We raised around $21,000 for the Sidney Myer Haven – a brilliant housing facility in Bendigo developed by Haven; Home, Safe aimed at breaking the cycles of homelessness and poverty.
The competition was keen, and the team from Bendigo Modern Press took out the major prize on the day, with Go Deees second, and the JG King team taking out third. We hear that one of our placegetters has set the intention of taking out the major prize at the next event, so we hope they are in serious training!
Our prize for the pre-round Biggest Hit comp went to Craig Hodge, and Jordan Treacey took out the putting comp.
Thanks to our major sponsor
Our major sponsor is again Bendigo’s Symes BMW, and we thank them for their generous support. And once again, funds raised go to Haven; Home, Safe’s Sidney Myer Haven project.
