We provide a full event management and marketing solution so that you can get the benefits from a fun, fantastic event run in your name and raising funds for your great cause. And while we’re based in Victoria, Australia, we are available to establish and manage events anywhere you’d like to run one.
How The Big Hit came about
The Big Hit was conceived and developed by Paul Murphy. Paul is otherwise a management consultant and coach operating Atwork Consulting. Paul has a passion for health and wellbeing, and has been a golf tragic since his teens – like many golfers he’s still nowhere near that elusive single-figure handicap, but keeps coming back for more!
Some years back Paul and several associates ran a charity golf tournament in Castlemaine Victoria. It raised funds for Interchange, a worthwhile Bendigo cause. Paul conceived of the event title – ‘The Big Hit’ – and a tradition was born. It was then in 2013 that Paul took the idea for a charity golf tournament to Haven; Home, Safe – a great NFP Housing Association based in Bendigo Vic and with services around Victoria. They embraced it, and the rest is becoming history!
How we make it easy for you
We provide strong co-branding under The Big Hit banner, and all the systems and processes to help you establish, manage, and run the event. We help you link with sponsors, partners, supporters, celebrity players and speakers, and even handle the team registrations online.
